Tomb of last Ilisu Sultan found in Turkey - <span style="color: red;">EXCLUSIVE  - <span style="color: red;">PHOTOSESSION

Head of expedition engaged in the research of epigraphic monuments, historical ethnographer Jahangir Soltanov told APA about it.

Soltanov said that the tomb of Daniyal Sultan was found by member of the aforementioned expedition, Doctor of Islamic law Ahmed Niyazov in Turkey. The expedition members have previously determined the exact location of the tomb of Daniyal Sultan's daughter Karimat khanum who was called “Rose of the Caucasus” for her beauty.


There hasn’t been accurate information about both facts in the scientific environment.


Soltanov said that Daniyal Sultan laid the foundation of a peaceful resistance against the violence in historical Zagatala province long ago Mahatma Gandhi's "satyagraha" training (1869) and was an author of "Caucasian House" idea.
