Resettlement Commission warns â€œSovetskiâ€ residents about â€œmoneymakersâ€ and swindle attempts

Baku. Ramiz Mikayiloglu – APA. “Some residents impinge some actions in order to get additional means from the state. These are new illegal constructions,” First Deputy Head of the Yasamal District Executive Authority, Chairman of the Resettlement Commission established under the Yasamal District Executive Authority Samad Islamov told APA.

S. Islamov noted that within the last week ten attempts to construct illegal construction were prevented, and eight illegal constructions were demolished. According to the Chairman of the Resettlement Commission, before starting measuring works, photos of the area for all the stages were taken via modern technical devices and the Resettlement Commission have photos of the current condition of the buildings in the demolition territory: “Not depending on construction of any new building, we know the previous condition of the territory. We warn the citizens, when we face additional building during dimensioning. Repeatedly it was noted via Mass Media that doing any construction in the demolition territory is a violation of the law. All the constructions after the order #501, dated December 12, 2013, issued by the head of the Baku City Executive Authority, are illegal.

If we call it with exact name, this is an attempt to swindle the state and embezzle the state means. The citizens were informed about it by the working groups under the Resettlement Commission and Executive Power. Despite it, there are such attempts.

The chairman of the Resettlement Commission said that increase on number of illegal constructions in the territory informs us on certain issues: “We have investigated and revealed that certain persons, “moneymakers” are engaged in swindle against residents. They give promises, hopes to residents and encourage them to illegal constructions. But at the end, they have to understand that the commission has all the information on the current condition of the territory. The residents dissipate means for any additional construction. We try to improve housing conditions of the residents as instructed the Head of the State. In order to improve these housing conditions, they get higher amounts. We feel pain at the end that these illegal buildings should be knocked down. Unintentionally it leads material damage to them.

According S.Islamov citizens, trying to increase small areas of 2-3 square meters, are still possible to understand, but to construct two buildings for two days, at night, that we already knocked down were an extremely frustrating experience. One of the residents had built additional 150 square meters, now after its demolition, he regrets. His neighbor, who for many years worked at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, retired colonel went further, making an addition of 200 square meters, which today was certainly demolished. Once again I want to repeat that such actions will not be permitted, regardless of the status, position and so on. "
