Number of people, wanting to move from Sovetski, now reaches 2,620

Baku. Ramiz Mikayiloglu – APA. “Over the last 10 days, technical inventorial and calculative works were carried out in 834 addresses in residential and non-residential areas in the demolition territory, designated in order No 501 (12 December 2013) of the Baku City Executive Authority head, on the 3rd and 4th stages”, First Deputy Head of the Yasamal District Executive Authority, Chairman of the Resettlement Commission established under the Yasamal District Executive Authority Samad Islamov told APA.

He said they have so far carried out calculative works in 4,256 real estates, including the first and second stages. With the determined terms, the number of families wanting to sell residential and non-residential areas has hit 2,620. We have signed agreement protocols with the owners of 2,265 residential and non-residential areas. Resettlement can only be realized on a voluntary basis, paying AZN 1,500 per 1 square meter of area. The commission chairman added that 1,780 residential and non-residential areas have already been demolished.

Note that, there are 10,500 residential and non-residential areas in Sovetski. The first stage, which is about inventorial and calculative works, covers the areas from N.Narimanov statue in Baku’s Yasamal District to the Ministry of Taxes, while the second stage covers the area from Sovetski to Abdullah Shaiq Street. There were 3,500 residential and non-residential areas in these territories.
