Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. Currently, more than 70 ethnic groups are living in Azerbaijan, said Deputy Head of the Department of Socio-Political Affairs of the Presidential Administration Tahir Suleymanov, APA reports.
He said that Armenia had become a monostate, other nations are not allowed to live there: “About 250 000 Azerbaijanis had lived in Armenia till 1988. The Azerbaijanis were banished from Armenia within 11 months.”
Suleymanov said that no religious or ethnic conflict was recorded in Azerbaijan throughout the history: "These issues are being regulated by the Constitution of Azerbaijan."
