The event was attended by Education Minister Mikayil Jabbarov, Youth and Sport Minister Azad Rahimov, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Iltimas Mammadov, Executive Director of Youth Fund Farhad Hajiyev, head of Ganja executive authority Elmar Valiyev, parliamentarians, heads of youth organizations.
The speakers underlined the importance of declaration of Ganja as European Youth Capital and said it would promote Azerbaijan, especially Ganja all over the world.
Youth and Sport Minister Azad Rahimov said declaration of Ganja as European Youth Capital proved that youth policy is being successfully implemented in the country.
Education Minister Mikayil Jabbarov spoke about the steps taken in the field of education.
Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Iltimas Mammadov said internet is on the high level in Azerbaijan. Deputy Minister underlined that the speed and quality of internet will be improved more in connection with the declaration of Ganja as European Youth Capital 2016.
Ganja was officially declared 2016 European youth capital in Thessaloniki, Greece.
