APA reports that it is reflected in the “State Strategy for the development of education in the Republic of Azerbaijan”.
The strategy envisages attraction of adequate amount of financial resources to education, 5-6% educational expenditures/GDP ratio, establishment of result-oriented budget planning and financing mechanisms with different sources, transition of educational institutions to the financing mechanism basing on per student cost, promotion of self-financing in the state and municipal educational institutions, support to the delivery of paid education services.
Education Development Fund will also be established basing on the extra-budgetary funds.
