Baku. Konul Kamilgizi – APA. “There is a real knowledge deficit in Azerbaijan. We consider that this tendency will further deepen in the society,” said Deputy Minister of Education Jeyhun Bayramov addressing the press-conference on the 7th Azerbaijan International Education and Career Exhibition, APA reports.
He said that when a real knowledge is assessed in the country, those who studied for diploma will be unemployed. According to him, if the Azerbaijani universities can provide high-quality education, their graduates will always be needed. Bayramov noted that everyone who received a diploma must prove his/her knowledge.
The deputy minister said that he did not agree with the views that young people, who have been educated abroad, are not provided with work in Azerbaijan: “Because here, we prefer knowledge not a diploma. As long as the diploma is more important than actual knowledge, we can not solve the problems of youth employment.
