Baku. Shahriyar Alizade – APA. Baku Court on Grave Crimes on Tuesday resumed the hearing on the criminal case of the former head of Azerbaijan’s State Flag Square Complex Rashad Mammadov and others.
Zabil Salmanov, who is recognized as an aggrieved person, gave testimony at the hearing presided over by judge Alovsat Abbasov.
He testified that he has no complaint or demand against the accused persons and he wants them to be released. Salmanov also said that the damage caused to him was paid.
The hearing will be continues on June 17.
The former head of Azerbaijan’s State Flag Square Complex Rashad Mammadov, as well as Isfandiyar Isfandiyarov and Arzu Mammadov were arrested on fraud charges. Zabil Salmanov, who is recognized as an aggrieved person, a while ago appealed to investigating authority, noting that he has no complaint against the accused persons.
On March 4, 2016, Baku’s Sabail District Court considered the appeal filed by Rashad Mammadov on commuting his pre-trial detention.
In his appeal, he mentioned that his wife suffered from a serious illness. Taking into account his appeal, the Sabail District Court released him on recognizance not to leave the country.
