According to him, the reports that his brother is alive are nonsense: “I don’t know who spreads such information. But I would like to say that it is necessary to respect the deceased person and his family. Not even 40 days have passed since my brother’s death. They call me and ask where he has been buried. Let 40 days pass. Then it will be possible to show his grave after the family’s permission.”
25-year-old Yegor Sherbakov was stabbed to death in West Biryulevo region of Moscow on October 10. As a result of the search operations conducted by the Russian law-enforcement bodies, Azerbaijani citizen Orkhan Zeynalov, who is accused of murdering, has been arrested. He has been sentenced to 2-month imprisonment.
Sherbakov’s murder has caused mass unrests in Moscow. On October 13, the Russian nationalists attacked “Biryuza” trade center and “Pokrov” fruit and vegetable base in West Biryulevo region and beat migrants there. Consequently, Moscow authorities have closed the base. Moreover, a series of operations are being carried out against migrants in Russia.
