On Dec.8, 2015, Azerbaijani Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev signed an order strengthening preventive measures against swine flu as the disease spread in neighboring Iran. According to the order, heads of medical departments and institutions in cities and districts have been instructed to raise awareness of medical staff about the swine flu.
