Chairwoman of Azerbaijan State Students Admission Commission Maleyka Abbaszade said during today’s press conference that the Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a decision on the European Games, APA reports.
Till today, a schedule about the dates of final and entrance examinations used to be publicized in late January, she added: “Next year, however, final examinations will be held earlier, that is prior to the European Games. Relevant proposals have already been sent to the Education Ministry. On May 30, schools will celebrate “Last bell” events. Next day it will be nearly impossible to take part in final examinations. We, alongside the Education Ministry, are trying to specify the dates of examinations. A precise schedule will be presented after discussing the matter with them. The dates of all final examinations across the country, not just Baku, will be changed.”
