Baku. Konul Kamilqizi – APA. 512 children suffering from diabetes are currently registered at the Republican Endocrinology Center (REC) of Azerbaijan, REC director Yusif Ismizade told APA on Wednesday.
He said that these children are constantly provided with insulin analogues, diabetics and test sticks
The REC director noted that 90 children have been provided by REM with insulin pumps and their accessories
“Diabetes patients are provided with drugs, insulin and its analogs, and self-control means in Baku and other parts of the country. In order to increase the quality of service in this area, an electronic register has been created for Baku city for examination and treatment of diabetes patients as well as their provision with drugs and self-control means,” he added.
