The average monthly pension in Azerbaijan is projected to reach AZN 640 next year, MP Musa Guliyev said during discussions on the 2027 state budget and the budget of the State Social Protection Fund, APA reports.
"Increases in salaries, pensions, and benefits will serve to improve social well-being. President Ilham Aliyev's announcement at the 8th Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party that salaries, pensions, benefits, and stipends would be increased is of great importance in terms of strengthening the social protection of the population. The economic successes achieved by the country in 2026 have created favorable conditions for continuing a socially oriented budget policy in 2027. The planned increases will contribute to raising the population's incomes and improving their social well-being. The average monthly pension is projected to increase by AZN 45 to AZN 640 next year," Musa Guliyev noted.
