Note that Samvel Karapetyan, leader of Armenia's Strong Armenia party, was detained again yesterday. Officers of the National Security Service took Karapetyan away through the back door of his house.
Since the morning of that day, searches have been conducted at the homes of Samvel Karapetyan and Narek Karapetyan, head of the Strong Armenia parliamentary faction.
According to the Armenian Investigative Committee, searches are being carried out simultaneously at 65 addresses as part of a criminal case related to economic crimes and smuggling.
