The activities of "ASAN Service," which are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, are also highly appreciated by the United Nations. The fact that "ASAN Service" received the UN Public Service Award in 2015 and the Special Award for the Development of Public Services through the Application of Digital Governance in 2019 is an indication of the international recognition of our achievements, APA reports.
These remarks were included in President Ilham Aliyev's address to the participants of the international event "UN Governance Innovation Summit: Advancing Future-Ready Institutions."
The head of state also noted in his address: "Cooperation with the United Nations creates new opportunities to promote this experience across a wider geographical area. The Contribution Agreement signed between Azerbaijan and the UN in 2024 envisages the promotion of the 'ASAN Service' model across four continents.
Azerbaijan will continue to support the promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals and contribute to international efforts aimed at providing high-quality public services."
