The State Statistics Committee told APA that this figure is equal to 98 persons per 100,000 of the population.
In the early 2014, 371 patients per 100,000 of the population were registered at Azerbaijani medical facilities with the same diagnosis.
Females were mostly diagnosed with malignant tumors of the breast, cervix, stomach, and ovary, while males with malignant tumors of the trachea, bronchus and lung, stomach, lymphoid, hematopoietic tissues and other tissues similar to them in origin and structure, as well as the rectum.
