SSAC press service told APA that the exams are being held in 11 cities – Baku, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Sumgayit, Mingachevir, Shaki, Aghjabedi, Goychay, Shirvan, Lankaran and Guba, totally in 42 buildings.
She said 23,052 applied for the 2nd specialty group in 2013. 20,544 of them are the graduates of Azerbaijani sector and 2,508 of Russian sector.
The exam will start at 11:00 in all buildings and last for 3 hours. Following the examination, on that day independent experts will conduct verification of tests for the 2nd specialty group. The results will be posted on the website of SSAC shortly after the examination. The applicants can also learn their points by sending their working number to 7,727 via SMS.
Abbaszadeh said that specialty choice of all applicants will last from August 6 to 15 via internet. Those gaining corresponding points will be able to choose specialties by entering their e-applications from August 18 to 22.
