"Russia is grateful to the leadership of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for its consistent support in seeking ways to resolve the Ukrainian crisis and its assistance in humanitarian matters," Russian President Vladimir Putin said at an operational meeting with permanent members of the Security Council, APA reports.
The meeting also discussed the trilateral talks between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi on November 10.
Putin thanked the UAE leadership for its readiness to host the talks.
He noted that the Emirates consistently assists Russia in seeking ways to resolve the Ukrainian crisis and also provides support on humanitarian issues related to the exchange of prisoners and other individuals.
