He noted that no one except one person coming from the Hajj pilgrimage has so far called 530 32 13, the hot line created on the issue.
Abdullayev said Azerbaijan has bought all necessary clothes and equipment for the fight against the Ebola virus.
“Everything is fully ready. The clothes were bought by the Health Ministry’s Innovation and Supply Center. All the equipments were presented to the station as a complete set and currently are in full readiness in the laboratory,” he added.
Abdullayev also said that some ambulances have been bought to carry possible patients with Ebola diagnosis, adding that the vehicles with special stretchers are kept at the Baku City Emergency and Urgent Medical Aid Station.
“We’re fully ready to combat the virus. All the equipments have been bought. The medical personnel and chambers are completely ready. Any case will be prevented if detected,” he said.
