Minister Heydarov spoke about the work done in Azerbaijan for the prevention of emergency situations and the elimination of their consequences, mentioning that there is a great potential for cooperation with Japanese relevant bodies which has rich experience in this field, the ministry told APA.
Takahashi in his turn stressed the importance of mutual visits in terms of developing relations between the relevant bodies of Japan with Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Moreover, he praised the participation of the Azerbaijani ministry’s delegation in the third UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction held in Sendai last year.
The sides also exchanged views on numerous issues of mutual interest.
