APA’s southern bureau reports that residents of Lankaran, Masalli, Astara, Lerik, Yardimli and Jalilabad regions, as well as IDPs settled in those regions participated in the meeting at the administrative building of the State Fire Protection Service in Jalilabad region. Residents sounded their problems regarding overhaul of their houses, facilities and compensation for the damage caused as a result of emergency situations.
Most of the applications were related with recruitment, assistance in the overhaul of the damaged houses. A number appeals of 56 citizens received by the minister were solved at that moment and due to several issues, relevant agencies were instructed to take urgent measures in accordance with the legislation. Moreover, 99 citizens were received by the heads of the ministry’s relevant agencies on the issues of staff and 71 citizens on other issues.
