According to him, the price increase is only related with economic issues: “Iran purchases products for the preparation of medicines from Europe. Compared to the previous years, these products are currently being imported at a higher price, for this reason medical fees in the country have tripled. It is not right to link this increase with the Azerbaijani citizens coming to Iran for treatment. According to the local laws, Iran gives subsidies to its citizens for medical use. Foreign citizens are offered various medical fees. I offer that first, chambers of commerce of both countries receive patients in Baku and insure them and then we will send them to various places of Iran for treatment. In this case, Azerbaijani citizens will not pay extra fees for treatment in Iran and have the same rights with our citizens.
