The business environment in Azerbaijan is improving day by day and bureaucratic obstacles are removed, President Aliyev said calling on Azerbaijani businessmen functioning abroad to invest in the country.

“The situation is destabilizing in the Middle East and Europe. Investment is impossible without stability. In Azerbaijan there is stability, the guarantee of which is the people of Azerbaijan. I call on Azerbaijani businessmen, who have great financial opportunities, to invest in the areas of agriculture, tourism, high technologies, etc.,†he stressed.

The head of state said that each Azerbaijani living abroad should visit Azerbaijan once a year.

“Azerbaijan is our homeland and it created opportunities for tourism and recreation. It will be beneficial for the country’s economy. We are currently developing the tourism sector. The number of tourists traveling to Azerbaijan is increasing thanks to the reforms in relation to visa-issuance procedure,†Ilham Aliyev said.  Â

The number of Azerbaijani embassies and consulates in foreign countries is increasing, according to the president.

President Aliyev emphasized that Azerbaijan doesn’t have any problem with other countries except Armenia.Â
