A ceremony of presentation of certificates and acceptance-delivery has been held in "Yeni Klinika" by the WHO Representation in Azerbaijan within the framework of the "Solidarity Initiative for Health" and "Support to Vaccination against COVID-19" projects, which are realized with cooperation of the European Union (EU) and the World Health Organization (WHO), has been held, APA reports.
During the event, 50 medical institutions and health workers were awarded for their support and active participation in continuing medical education under EU-WHO projects. In the end, 1000 hand hygiene dispensers, 2000 liters of hand sanitizer, 3000 small hand disinfectants (100 ml) and 3000 belt clips were handed over to TABIB within the framework of the “Solidarity Initiative for Health” in order to strengthen the prevention and control of infections in medical institutions.
