The Board of Directors of the US-Azerbaijan Cultural Foundation established a special award named after the late Israeli public figure and journalist Arye Gut, who played an exceptional role in the deepening of friendly relations between Israel and Azerbaijan in the last 15 years, as well as in the promotion of Azerbaijani truths in Israel, APA reports.
The award, which will be presented annually at a special ceremony, will be presented to individuals or organizations that will contribute to the strengthening of relations between Azerbaijan and Israel.
Notably, the documentary film "In the blink of an eye," shot about the Azerbaijani soldier Arif Hajiyev, who was wounded in the second Karabakh war, with the support of the president of the US-Azerbaijan Cultural Foundation, Nurit Gringer, and the director general of the US company Double Trouble Production, Eti El-Kiss dedicated to his dear memory.
