"Along with mosques, there are churches and synagogues in our country. Various denominations operate in an environment of freedom and mutual understanding. The state regularly provides financial assistance to Islamic and non-Islamic religious communities," Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Mubariz Gurbanli said at a meeting with Romanian Ambassador Vasile Soare on February 8.
Informing the ambassador about the process of restoration and reconstruction of historical and religious monuments vandalized by Armenians in our liberated lands after the brilliant victory of Azerbaijan in the 44-day Patriotic under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, Mubariz Gurbanli said that the state of Azerbaijan conducts the restoration of both Islamic and non-Islamic monuments with the same sensitivity.
