The procedure for issuing and extending work permits to foreigners and stateless persons involved in labor activities in the territories liberated from the occupation of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been improved, the Public Relations Department of the State Migration Service told APA.
Amendments to the Migration Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On State Duties” dated December 9, 2022, apply to foreigners who are involved in labor activities in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan from January 1, 2023, to January 1, 2028, and in relation to stateless persons contain the following:
Issuing and extending the work permit without taking into account the labor migration quota;
Reduction of the time period for consideration of the work permit application by 5 working days;
Extending the work permit for no more than 2 years each time;
Determining the amounts of the state fee for the issuance and extension of the work permit as follows;
within five working days:
up to 3 months- AZN 700
up to 6 months- AZN 900
up to a year- AZN 1400
up to 1 year to 6 months- AZN 1600
up to 2 years- AZN 1800
within 10 working days:
up to 3 months- AZN 500
up to 6 months- AZN 700
up to a year- AZN 1200
up to 1 year to 6 months – AZN 1400
Up to 2 years – AZN 1600
within fifteen working days:
up to 3 months – AZN 350;
up to 6 months – AZN 600;
Up to 1 year – AZN 1000.
1 year to 6 months – AZN 1200 ;
Up to 2 years – AZN 1400.
