On June 30, the resettlement convoy sent off to its native land arrived in the village of Kangarli in the Aghdam district, APA reports.
In this phase, the keys to newly built private residential houses were handed over to 37 families consisting of 153 people.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts, as well as representatives of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.
Note that currently, nearly 50,000 people live in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, including former internally displaced persons resettled there, as well as individuals working in the implementation of various projects in the region, fulfilling their official duties in local branches of different state institutions, and employed in the reactivated healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy enterprises, along with students receiving education in the area.
