"Taking into account India's interest in the region, Central Asia, and Europe, cooperation in the transport and logistics sector received special attention during today's discussions," Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a press conference with Indian Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, APA reports.
"Considering Azerbaijan's location at the intersection of both the East-West and North-South transport corridors, our country's targeted activities in this field in recent years, the expansion of opportunities, and, on the other hand, the interest of a large country and major economy like India in this region, including Central Asia, Europe, and other geographical areas close to us, discussions on cooperation in the transport and logistics sector also attracted considerable interest. We are focused on this issue," the Minister noted.
