The remains of three servicemen who went missing during the First Karabakh War have been buried in Kalbajar, APA’s local bureau reports.
The remains of Azizov Yusif, Musayev Mehman Musayev, and Garayev Gafar — all residents of Kalbajar — were brought to the city, where a farewell ceremony was held.
They were later buried at the Kalbajar city cemetery.
This marks the first burial ceremony held in Kalbajar since its liberation from occupation.
Notably, all three individuals went missing on March 27, 1993, in the direction of the village of Chiragli in Kalbajar.

The remains of three Kalbajar residents who went missing during the First Karabakh War have been handed over to their families, APA reports.
The remains of servicemen Yusif Ismayil Azizov, Mehman Jamal Musayev, and Gafar Gambar Garayev, who were residents of Takhtabashi village in Kalbajar district, have been brought to the city of Kalbajar.
Currently, a farewell ceremony for the martyrs is being held. The remains will be buried today at the Kalbajar city cemetery.
This is the first burial ceremony in Kalbajar since its liberation from occupation.
Note that all three individuals went missing on March 27, 1993, in the direction of Chiragli village of Kalbajar.
