Eco-activists and representatives of NGOs are continuing the action in the city of Shusha - on the Lachin-Khankendi road, in protest against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits, especially the "Kyzilbulag" gold and "Demirli" copper-molybdenum deposits, in the areas under the temporary control of Russian peacekeepers, APA's correspondent assigned to Shusha reports.
Despite the chilly weather, eco-activists, members of civil society, and volunteers continued their protest throughout the night. They are waving signs and yelling slogans in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English without hindering traffic on the road.
Currently, eco-activists are chanting slogans and singing the national anthem of Azerbaijan.
Eco-activists and young volunteers are currently shouting slogans like "Stop eco-terror!" in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages.
Notably, protest action has been going on since December 12. It is already the 16th day of the action.
