Azerbaijani Eco-activists and representatives of NGOs are continuing the action in the city of Shusha - on the road to Lachin, in protest against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits, especially the Kizybulag gold and Demirli copper-molybdenum deposits, in the areas under the temporary control of Russian peacekeepers, APA's correspondent reports from the scene.
The participants of the action have been continuing their protest for the seventeenth day. The protesters chanting different slogans started the day by singing the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Later, the participants of the action continued chanting different slogans.
Note that since December 12, Azerbaijani eco-activists and public representatives have been holding a protest near the post of peacekeepers. The main demands of the protestors are the arrival of RSC commander Andrey Volkov, the creation of necessary conditions for Azerbaijani specialists to conduct monitoring, and the end of environmental terrorism on Azerbaijani lands.
