According to the Eurasian Regional Youth Forum Center of the Organization of Islamic Conference, Pakistan's "Youth Diplomacy Forum" and "Global Strategy Institute for Sustainable Development" public organizations joined the support of Azerbaijani activists regarding the situation around Lachin road, Global Strategy Institute for Sustainable Development issued statement, APA reports.
“Monitoring of environment should be implemented by ecologists and eco-activists and exploitation of all natural resources should be conducted in accordance with the legistalion of the Republic of Azerbaijan. We demand the provision of safety guarantees for Azerbaijani eco-activists, as well as the observance and implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals at any cost. This is only possible if environmental terrorism is stopped and the perpetrators are brought to justice, which will help maintain peace in the region,” the statement reads.
