Next resettlement convoy arrives in Sugovushan village of Aghdara, families receive keys to new homes -PHOTO-UPDATED-1

Today, as part of the “Great Return” program, 53 families consisting of 185 individuals were relocated to the village of Sugovushan in the Aghdara district, APA reports.

Former IDPs, sent off from various cities and districts of the country, were presented with keys to their new homes and have now settled in.

With this, a total of 126 families have been resettled in Sugovushan village of the Aghdara district to date.

Sabuhi Gahramanov, the Deputy Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Khankendi city, Aghdara and Khojaly districts, stated that special attention is being paid to ensuring employment for the relocated families. It was also noted that the resettlement process to Sugovushan village will continue. In total, 180 families (591 individuals) have been registered for the planned relocation to the village.

Another relocation convoy has been sent to the village of Sugovushan in the Aghdara district, APA reports.

The people resettling in Sugovushan village in Aghdara are those who had been temporarily housed in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings across various parts of the country.

At this phase, 53 families, totaling 185 people, are being resettled in the village.

Note that currently, in addition to the IDPs relocated to Garabagh and East Zangazur, approximately 40,000 people live in this region, including those working on ongoing projects, employees of local branches of various state entities, as well as those working in healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy facilities that have resumed operations.
