State Program to be developed to improve living conditions of ANAS scientists

The State Program will be developed to improve living conditions of the scientists of Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), ANAS president Mahmud Karimov told APA. The State Program’s project will be prepared in the near future and submitted to the relevant organizations.

Karimov noted that the State Program will cover the issues on the scientists working only at the Academy: “The problems of the scientists working in other spheres are solved to some extent, while this problem for ANAS remains.”

According to the ANAS president, preparations are underway to construct the residential building for the scientists living in the Academy’s hostel.

Karimov said 118 families live in the ANAS hostel and noted that only one block will be given to the families living in the hostel.

“The other blocks will be used for other purposes. This is a commercial project. Though the entrepreneurs constructing the building do not seek great benefits, such a solution favors them,” he said.
