The US State Department has urged Americans living in or traveling to the Middle East to exercise caution amid the threat of possible attacks and a deteriorating security situation, APA reports.
The department advised US citizens to exercise maximum caution due to the threat of potential attacks by the Houthis and Iran.
The warning noted that rising tensions in the region could lead to flight cancellations, airspace closures, and other transportation disruptions.
Americans were advised to monitor updates from airports and airlines and prepare contingency plans for possible emergencies.
According to the US State Department, Iran and groups backed by Tehran could target US interests abroad, as well as US-linked facilities, companies, and other organizations.
