Sleet and snow expected in some regions of Azerbaijan

The weather will be gloomy in the evening, drizzle are expected in some places at night.

The National Hydrometeorological Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told APA that an occasional strengthening of the gentle south-west, west wind would be observed in the daytime. North-west wind will occasionally intensify in the evening. The temperature will be 2…5 C at night, 9…14 C in the firth half of the day and 5…7 C towards the evening.

On January 20, the weather will be mainly dry in Azerbaijan’s regions. The weather will be foggy in some places at night and in the morning, but it will rain and sleet in the evening, snow is expected in mountainous and sub-mountainous regions. West wind will blow and occasionally intensify in some regions.

The temperature will be -1…4 C at night, while up to -4 C in different places, 12…17 C in the daytime, in the daytime, in mountainous regions 3…8 C at night, -13-18C in the highlands, 4…9 C in the daytime.
