Reform concept of pension system to be prepared in Azerbaijan - <span style="color: red;">PHOTO

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. Newly appointed UN Resident Coordinator to our country Antonius Broek visited the State Social Protection Fund, APA reports. During the meeting the guest was informed about working conditions of the Fund.

Broek acquainted with the operation of automatized management system, works carried out in individual account sphere. Chairman of the Fund Salim Muslumov noted that as a result of the sustainable reforms in insurance-pension system, a modern insurance-pension model had formed in Azerbaijan.

‘Development of the system is realized on the basis of actual calculations on the international standards. In future, in order to determine strategic targets on long-term development of insurance-pension system and correspond the system indicators to modern demands, a concept of reform of the pension system will be developed in the country’, said Muslumov.

He appreciated efforts of the UNDP as a good partner in the reform, realized in insurance and pension system in the country.
