Kemaleddin Heydarov makes public volume of compensation for flood-affected people

He noted that 4107 individual houses of 419 sq m area have been constructed since September of 2010 in flood-affected regions – Sabirabad, Salyan, Saatli, Imishli, Kurdamir, Hajigabul, Neftchala, Beylagan, Fuzuli regions and Shirvan city. At present 106 houses are being constructed: “90 out of 95 social facilities have been already commissioned, including 8 school buildings for 2070 pupils, 150-seat 3 kindergartens, 7 clinics, 1 library, 274-seat 2 clubs, 500 sq m swimming pool, 250 cubic meter reservoir and etc.”

From July, 2010 till October 1, 2012, AZN 18 517 000 compensation had been paid to 14 760 families affected by the flooding of the Kur and Araz rivers. Moreover, AZN 6 028 000 was paid to 13 178 families, whose fields were damaged by the natural disaster. In general, AZN 24 545 000 compensation was paid to the families affected by the flooding in the Kur and Araz rivers.
