APA reports that while responding to the journalists’ questions Minister spoke about the construction of the houses, destroyed as a result of the quakes: “We have today held a meeting with the representatives of construction companies. They told us that 60% of the houses destroyed in the first quake in Zagatala on May 7 and 18 had already been constructed. According to the graphic submitted today, 10-12% extra houses will be handed over every week. According to the company representatives, all the houses will be built and handed over by the end of December.”

The citizens were also informed about it. The construction works will be started after commissions finish their work. These houses will be handed over in March-April 2013.”

Therefore, we have taken steps in advance and brought the temporary houses of 10 apartments. 4-5 of them are ready. These houses are set in the place where the houses will be constructed in the 1st and 2nd half of December and residents will be settled there. The temporary houses have been brought for the residents affected by the recent quake in Balakan. Once the population will be resettled in their homes, these temporary structures will be dismantled and handed over to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.”
