Baku. Vugar Heydarov – APA. Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kemaleddin Heydarov has visited the quake-affected region again. APA reports that Kemaleddin Heydarov visited several villages of quake-affected Zagatala and Balakan regions and inspected the construction works. He also attended the opening of some facilities.
Deputy Chief of Zagatala Region Executive Power Elman Ramazanov told APA that Kemaleddin Heydarov will also attend the opening of the schools in Mamrukh and Faldarli villages of the region and hand-over ceremony of the apartments, which construction has been completed.
Heydarov will reportedly meet with the representatives of construction companies that carried out construction works in the region.
Two powerful quakes hit Zagatala on May 7, 2012. As a result of these quakes, more than 3 000 buildings were destroyed and damaged. The funds were allocated from the state budget to eliminate the consequences of the quake.
