It has been decided to stop temporarily construction works in 1121 buildings, said Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kemaleddin Heydarov at the event on the 7th anniversary of the establishment of the ministry.
The minister said that during the eleven months of 2012, the technical examinations were carried out at more than 4000 enterprises on more than 33 000 plants and equipments with potential threat to take control over ensuring security in oil and gas industry, liquid and natural gas, mining, metallurgy, chemical, petro-chemical facilities, production of dangerous industrial equipments, transportation of dangerous goods via railway and vehicles and main pipelines and etc.
As a result of the examinations, more than 16 000 violations were revealed, the exploitation of 476 devices and equipments temporarily prohibited. More than 3000 instructions were given to observe the rules of safe operation and more than 10 000 violations eliminated.
The minister said that more than 7000 workers and engineers have been examined.
