The Azerbaijani Parliament told APA that the draft law is being developed basing on the law “On veterans”.
The new draft law will determine the criteria for assigning the status of national hero, at the same time the new privileges in connection with it.
The draft law is being developed basing on the experience of the US and Europe. The draft may be submitted to the relevant committee of the Parliament and put up for discussion by the end of this year.
Along with the new law, amendments to the law “On veterans” are also expected.
