Baku – APA. “A great deal of funds has been allocated from 2013 state budget for social sphere. The process of compensation of savings is to be completed. Now, there is no doubt that it will be completed successfully,” Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev said making a closing speech at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on the outcomes of socio-economic development of 2012 and tasks lying ahead in 2013, APA reports.
The Head of State said social infrastructure – construction of schools, hospitals, cultural centers and sports complexes is planned: “More than 70 medical facilities will be reconstructed and repaired. About 2500 schools were constructed over the last ten years and this process is still being continued.
In general, there are more than 4500 schools in the country and the majority of them are seriously damaged. At present, the number of the seriously-damaged schools has significantly reduced. We will try to reconstruct all damaged schools this year and renovate the schools, which are in need of repair. All reconstruction and construction works in the schools in Baku must be completed this year. This issue is always under the control. No school must be left damaged or unrepaired in Baku this year and in all regions in the coming years.
