Baku. Shamil Alibeyli – APA. “Human trafficking is one of the most serious human rights crimes today,” Head of the OSCE Office in Baku, Ambassador Koray Targay stated at the international conference on “Enhancing co-operation to combat human trafficking and forced labour”, APA reports.
According to him, the participation of civil society organizations is important in the fight against human trafficking and forced labour:
“The conference will cover the issues on the prevention, pursuit of human trafficking, protection of the victims of trafficking. In order to achieve efficiency we need a fourth principle - establishment of close cooperation between governments and civil society organizations. Human trafficking is an international problem. All countries must cooperate to fight against the problem.”
