219 criminal cases launched regarding persons refusing to execute court decisions in Azerbaijan

Baku. Shahriyar Alizadeh – APA. The number of cases of execution implemented by the Justice Ministry’s local executive agencies increased by 14.1% and reached 18473 last year, the execution of 75% of them was ensured, says the report for 2012 sent by the Cabinet of Ministers to the Azerbaijani Parliament.

According to the report, legal entities and individuals paid about AZN 115,4 million last year.

2387 cases on tax debts were completed and AZN 6,3 million was paid to the state budget on their results. The protocol of administrative offences was complied about 2325 persons, who didn’t fulfill the executive officers’ legal requirements. 1880 indebted persons were administratively disciplined, 698 sentenced to administrative detention. 219 criminal cases were launched to bring to justice the persons, who refused to execute the court decisions, the right to leave the country was restricted for 3419 people, up three times compared to previous year.

Under the President’s decree, the situation regarding the execution of court decisions was summarized and the Head of State was informed about this every 6 months.
