"Pakistan is our close friend and has always stood by us. Our relations will continue to strengthen and develop," Samad Seyidov, a member of the Milli Majlis and Chairman of the Committee on International and Interparliamentary Relations, told journalists, APA reports.
He noted that Azerbaijan has consistently expressed its position regarding the events in Pakistan and India: "Both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the members of parliament have repeatedly stated their positions. We believe that Pakistan is our close friend and has always been by our side. These relations will continue to strengthen and develop. Azerbaijan will always stand by justice and fairness."
