Last person injured in AZAL plane crash discharged home in Azerbaijan

The last patient, who was injured as a result of the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) passenger plane performing the Baku-Grozny flight near Aktau, and brought to Azerbaijan and placed in the New Clinic, has been discharged from the hospital, TABIB told APA.

It was noted that the condition of the person (female) who was admitted to the New Clinic's Intensive Care Unit and underwent surgery was considered satisfactory. However, considering the patient’s need for medical rehabilitation, it was decided that her treatment would continue at the Medical Rehabilitation Center operating under TABIB.

Note for information that, since the condition of the other two people who were previously transferred from the New Clinic to the Medical Rehabilitation Center and received treatment was considered satisfactory, they were discharged for outpatient treatment.

A person who was transferred to the Balakan District Central Hospital at their own request some time ago was also discharged today for outpatient treatment.

Note that the health condition of each person discharged for outpatient treatment is monitored by the relevant district doctors in their respective areas.
