The memory of the victims of the Khojaly tragedy was commemorated in Khankandi, APA reports.
A memorial event was held in the city of Khankandi, Aghdara and Khojaly districts in connection with the 33rd anniversary of the Khojaly genocide, jointly organized by the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Garabagh University.
The ceremony, which began with the playing of the national anthem and a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs, also included Khojaly witnesses and relatives of the Khojaly martyrs, who spoke about the terrible night of the genocide.
Video clips prepared on the Khojaly genocide were also screened at the memorial ceremony.
