Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus noted that WHO supports countries in preventing the spread of diseases.
"The United States announced its decision to withdraw from the WHO. This is very bad for both the US and the world, as it will weaken global efforts against infectious diseases. The US itself will also suffer from this," the Director-General emphasized.
